What I love most about Ebise's work is her total commitment to her brand. During our initial consultation, Ebise told me she wants to "live" her brand by shopping local and incorporating more natural ingredients into all aspects of her life. What's more, the bees wax she uses reflects her Ethiopian heritage. She travels to the country regularly and personally knows the farmers who supply the wax. Does it get any better?
I had the best time last Saturday with Ebise of Mare Naturals at her home in D.C. Ebise is a law professional by day and maker of natural beauty products by weekend. Using Ethiopian bees wax, she's created a line of deliciously delightful merchandise that's healthy for your skin and your wallet! In addition to photographing Mare products, Ebise showed me how she makes one of her best sellers: body butter. The process was fascinating to watch! Ebise's mama stopped by, so I got a photo of her, too. Aren't they beautiful together? Are you a small business owner? Need help getting your name out there?
