In addition to electrifying performances that feature hit covers combined with her own soulful, rock-edge originals, Emma is on a personal mission to save the world one song at a time. A survivor of childhood brain trauma resulting from a life-threatening neurological condition, Emma discovered early on the life-saving power of music. She uses songwriting as an effective tool not only to communicate what she's feeling, but to process trauma and help others--especially teenagers--do the same. Twice now she has spoken about the science behind songwriting at two different TedEx talks, one of which you can find here.
Emma came to me in need of not just headshots, but custom brand images that perfectly capture her unique aura as an artist, which she describes as somewhere between Alicia Keys and P!NK. After carefully discussing with Emma her needs, how she'll use her images, and her unique style, I put together a custom, two-part imaging package, the first photos of which are on display here. It was important to me to capture Emma's spirit without unnecessary distractions or background noise, which is why I chose the Kennedy Center as the backdrop for these portraits. The Center's Midcentury minimalist chic urban design was the perfect place for Emma to let her inner wolf shine.
This is also the perfect time for me to announce an expansion of my services. In coming months my goal is to expand my services to offer brand imaging to artists, artisans, makers, and independent business owners. If you're a local creative whose looking to take their brand imaging to the next level, let's connect! I would love to put together a custom package suited to your needs. Contact me and let's talk!
