This celebration was as much about Cliff and I as it was about family, friends, mentors, teachers, and neighbors who have graced our lives with so much love, kindness, guidance, and friendship over the years. Our goal was to host an event that felt laid-back, warm, welcoming, and fun, and also paid tribute to our beloved homeland, Nebraska. We found the perfect venue in Prairie Creek Inn in Walton, Nebraska.
I have to give a special shout out to all those who went above and beyond to make our day extra special, including:
Our dear friend and talented photographer Brad Weber, who made the gorgeous photos you see here.
Diem Duong, who made me feel beautiful by doing my hair and makeup.
Molly Larson, who repeatedly calmed my nerves and donated her mad engineering skills to hang string lights.
Kathy Reuther, who helped me decorate and graced us all with her uncanny humor.
Kim Nuss, who led Hall County Incident in rocking the joint.
My extended family, including my beautiful cousins and life-of-the-party uncles who traveled all the way from Indiana to share in our joy.
And, of course, our parents, who gave us roots and taught us to fly.
We love you all!
