I'm always looking to build my portfolio, so during my recent venture home I put out a call to friends and family for a little help. My classmate from high school answered, and I'm so glad he did!
Michael and I have known each other for years. We were in marching band together and both wrote for our school's newspaper. Michael's family and I spent an afternoon on the UNL East Campus Arboretum catching up and laughing at the antics of little Gabby. She's 1 now, and its pretty awesome to see my friend in his new role as parent. Michael seems like a great dad. His wife, Lisa? She's absolutely charming—and beautiful!
What made this session so great were the little moments Michael, Lisa and Gabby shared with each other during our time together. It was a pretty warm day, so Lisa thought it would be fun to treat Gabby to some home-made ice cream from the UNL Dairy Store. Gabby loved her ice cream, and I loved being able to capture her enjoying such a fun snack!
